Once a Month Meals- Crockpot Cranberry Chicken

Once a Month Meals: Crockpot Cranberry Chicken Recipe

One of our other favorite meals from Take One of our Once a Month Meal try was this Cranberry Chicken. At first I was a little wary of putting this together because there were only five ingredients and one of them was Catalina dressing! I mean, who would have thought to put that on chicken? But whoever came up with that was smart because this turned out awesome! Ingredients

  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup catalina/french dressing
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 2 lbs chicken

Freeze

  1. Mix all ingredients in freezer bag & freeze!

Cook

  1. Place contents in crockpot.
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low 6-7 hours.

Don’t forget that I DOUBLED the recipe above! We did end up making both bags because we really enjoyed it.. especially with some mashed potatoes! Keep an eye on it if you cook it on high, because the cranberries have a tendency to burn. This will definitely be on Take Two though because it was super simple to put together and the entire family loved it!
