Making your own peanut butter is as easy as dumping nuts into a food processor and pressing “go”. Seriously.
I bought a big 34.5 oz container of Honey Roasted Peanuts.
Then I dumped them in the food processor.
And pressed “Go”. (not really, there’s no “go” button.. I actually selected the “chop” setting.) In less than a minute your peanuts should start to release their oils and be coarsely chopped.
Let the food processor keep running and in 2-3 more minutes you should start to see your peanuts become paste-like.
In another minute you’ll have delicious peanut butter!
Since the Honey Roasted peanuts already have sugar and spices on them, I didn’t have to add anything to the mixture to have a sweet and delicious peanut butter.
When I was done I had about 20 oz. I had enough to let the kids share for a snack and 15 more oz to store in a glass jar.
I even made the super cute label you see on the jar above. It’s available for download HERE.
